Matt is an experienced physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice. He has worked extensively in private practice, treating musculoskeletal, sporting and post-operative conditions.
He enjoys helping people regain confidence in their movement and return to work, sport and the activities they love, through evidence-based rehabilitation that combines hands-on treatment, progressive exercise rehabilitation and patient education.
Matt has undertaken additional professional development in foot and ankle rehabilitation, including consultations and surgical observations with some of Melbourne’s leading foot and ankle surgeons. This experience has enhanced his understanding of the complexities of foot and ankle pathology, surgical procedures and the nuances of post-operative rehabilitation, allowing him to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Having undergone syndesmosis reconstruction following a significant ankle injury, Matt has experienced the rehabilitation process from both the clinician’s and the patient’s perspective. This has given him a genuine appreciation of the physical and mental challenges that accompany foot and ankle injuries, allowing him to better support patients throughout their recovery journey.
Originally from Warrnambool, Matt enjoys playing football and golf, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
